Cloth First: Choosing a Suiting Fabric
Before the cut, before the fit — the cloth decides what the suit will become.

Every suit starts long before the measuring tape. It starts with a bolt of cloth.
Weight decides the season. Weave decides the character. Twist decides how the fabric forgives — a high-twist wool will shrug off a long day; a soft cashmere blend will demand better behaviour.
For this climate we favour cool weaves: tropical wools, open plain weaves, linens that crease proudly.
Choose the cloth first and the rest of the garment argues less.
